Scientifically proven, methodologically sound health and performance enhancement is my passion. My mission is to clarify and increase accessibility for those who need it most to the skill sets surrounding physical literacy. From there, I hope to inspire and facilitate self-motivation and self-responsibility in directing our own health and fitness journeys.
In any realm, challenging and improving physical skillsets will improve our quality of life because the process of building new motor skills can be applied to achieving every other goal we create for ourselves. From the first step of setting time aside for self-care to completing a grueling physical goal, or simply crossing off an item our daily to do list to the realization of a life-long pursuit — exercise teaches us to invest in ourselves, map out and track our goals, to push through barriers, seek out positive support, and celebrate accomplishments. Spanning youth to older adults, apparently healthy to clinical populations, for any and all — self-awareness and self-tracking, goal-setting and self-analysis, self-talk, visualization and imagery, persistence and practice, time-management, and self-dedication — the underlying lessons from just one successfully completed exercise routine can apply to everyone and any goal when the right considerations are made.
